Non-fungible token... uh, what?

NFT stands for non-fungible token, meaning information on the blockchain that can be precisely identified. This technology is therefore often used for art, but also for more fun things.

In our case, it's a collection of 10,000 humanoid apes, the "Bored Ape Yacht Club" or BAYC for short. It's one of the most well-known NFT projects to date.

NFTs have different properties or traits

Each NFT in a collection has a fixed number - in Loki's case #5814 (out of 10,000). It also has so-called traits that differ from one Bored Ape to another. Other Apes, for example, wear a motorcycle helmet instead of the nice yellow fisherman's hat.

Depending on how frequently these characteristics occur in a collection, an individual NFT is rarer and therefore usually more valuable. Loki falls somewhere in the middle. Sure, the golden-furred Apes are rarer, but of course, they're nowhere near as likeable as him.

Variations of Loki

As the owner of a Bored Ape, you are free to use the IP, the intellectual property, or trademark rights, of the ape. Therefore, we have created several different versions of Loki for different application areas.

  • Front-facing version

Here, for example, the side view has been transformed into a frontal version. And after a good night's sleep, his red eyes have recovered somewhat.

  • Bored in the pool

Of course, we can also see Loki "in action" and use him as a hero in our books and stories.

  • Cosplaying

Loki as a character speaks for himself. However, it rarely happens that he slips into a new role or disguises himself.

Certified

We at Mindfully Bored are officially certified as "Made by Apes." This confirms that we own Loki and, as a company, meet the quality criteria.
